HubSpot Form Setting: Always Create Contact

Probably the HubSpot Form related setting we get the most questions about...

Should I turn on the 'Always Create Contact' option?

We used to leave this off because it would allow fields to be pre-filled, plus progressive fields.

But for most forms these days, we usually turn it on - simply because there's been too many instances of contacts getting overwritten with completely new contact details due to people forwarding emails, or sharing computers, or entering in on behalf of others, etc, etc.

The downside is you'll get duplicate contacts sometimes (eg same person returns but uses a different email address) but this is much easier to manage than contacts being overwritten.
