Why are these tips so basic?
Just about every HubSpot 'tip' I share here is the result of a question on a client call.
Even what you might think are the most basic ones.
For example, recently I shared a 'tip' that you can filter Files by type (eg videos). To most users this is so basic you might wonder why I'd even bother sharing it.
But my thinking is this: if showing that to a user on a call has made a difference to their process, then no matter how basic, perhaps it's useful for others too.
It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that what's basic/obvious to us is common knowledge to others. But people are time poor, new to HubSpot, used to a different interface from other tools, etc, etc.
Sometimes reminders of the basics are just what they need.
